Techray Medical attended the 12th China (Sichuan) - South Asia & Southeast Asia Business Leaders Summit Successfully Held

On June 28th, THE 12th China (Sichuan) -South Asia and Southeast Asian Business Leaders Summit, sponsored by China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, Sichuan Provincial People's Government, South Asian Association Chamber of Commerce and Industry and China-ASEAN Center, was held in Chengdu. The summit is one of the main activities of the 19th China West Expo. With the theme of "Sharing the opportunities of The Times and Creating Regional Prosperity", it aims to deeply integrate into the construction of the "Belt and Road" and help Sichuan build a new pattern of three-dimensional and comprehensive opening up.

Vice Chairman of CCPIT Yu Jianlong and Vice Governor of Sichuan Provincial People's Government Yang Xingping delivered speeches and jointly inaugurated the "Sichuan Liaison Office of China-ASEAN Business Council". Government agencies, embassies and consulates in China, mainstream business associations, trade and investment promotion agencies, relevant international organizations from 17 South Asian and Southeast Asian countries such as India, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Maldives, Laos, Vietnam, Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia, and CCTFP of Chongqing, Guangxi, Yunnan and other provinces, A total of 350 representatives from relevant departments of Sichuan Province, municipal (state) governments, business associations, universities and Chinese and foreign enterprises attended the meeting.

Yu Jianlong pointed out that cooperation between China and South Asian and Southeast Asian countries in various fields has been continuously deepened, economic and trade exchanges have maintained a sound momentum of development, and the regional market size and cooperation potential are huge. He said that the CCPIT will work with the business communities of South and Southeast Asian countries and with Sichuan Province to build more platforms and provide better services to push the international economic and trade cooperation between China and South and Southeast Asia to a new level.

Yang Xingping said that Sichuan has always placed a prominent position in opening up to South Asia and Southeast Asia, actively established new cooperative relations and industrial supply chains with South Asian countries (regions), and welcomed friends from the business community in South Asia and Southeast Asia to actively participate in Sichuan's modernization and help multilateral regional economic and trade cooperation to a higher quality and level.

During the summit, Sichuan CCPIT and Sichuan Market Supervision and Administration signed a memorandum of cooperation to establish a cooperation mechanism between trade and investment promotion institutions and standardization administrative departments, jointly promote the deep integration of economic and trade activities and standardization, and help enterprises cope with foreign technical trade barriers. The Department of Education of Gandarki Province of Nepal and the Department of Education of Sichuan Province signed a memorandum of cooperation to further deepen the cooperation in the field of education between Sichuan and Nepal, such as teacher exchange, Chinese language promotion and vocational training.

The Summit launched the theme "RCEP and Lancang-Mekong Cooperation: a 'Golden Model' for Regional Development" Two special activities, namely "South Asia (Southeast Asia) Internal Mechanism Meeting" and "China (Sichuan) -South Asia and Southeast Asia Countries Opportunity and Investment Environment Promotion Meeting and Matching Meeting", were held. Participants and enterprises will also be organized to carry out the "city and state visit" investigation and investigation activities in Ya 'an City to promote the extension of the open platform function of the summit to cities and states.
